Do any of our MS legislators know me or my children personally? No. I do and I believe God chose me to be their voice and advocate for themselves. Not any of you. But it's NR too late to do the right thing and help us stand up for what is right for our children. They aren't just a number or a percentage. They are living breathing human beings that mean the world to those who love them and care for them. There is enough harmful things in the world that is out of our control but this IS in our control. The choice belongs to the parents. Do the right thing. I'm praying for the Lord to open your eyes to the truth and not be blinded.

I believe that parents, who are responsible for the health and welfare of their children, and not the government, should be responsible for their children's healthcare needs and should have the final say. In a state that has a great number of Christians, I believe it is wrong for the government to supplant God's authority; that is to say, if God were to lead two parents not to vaccinate, I don't believe the government should supplant God in that situation. I believe that is prideful and shouldn't be mandated, as if to say that we know more than God does in a particular situation. Not only that, but aborted fetal tissue was used in some Merck vaccines (which they admitted), and some also contain human and animal tissue, which is injected into the bloodstream, bypassing the immune system. I question the efficacy of this procedure; our immune system is what protects us and remembers the bacteria to fight against them in the future. If we inject it into the bloodstream, I don't see how that would help us fight it off. Our bodies would just see it as foreign particles and fight against it. No wonder some of the children I know, and many children I have heard and read about have had fevers and bad reactions to vaccines. Also, I watched a video of someone addressing the Senate and stating that a CDC employee admitted to lying about vaccine safety studies. The fact that he admitted the truth, and likely lost everything because of it, speaks volumes about his motivation and desire to come clean to the truth and to try to fix the damage he had done by lying. Please listen to and support the parents who would like a religious, conscientious, or philosophical exemption from vaccines. Thank you.

mother of a child who is not medically able to be exempt due to Mississippi's corrupt laws not allowing parents to make the personal decision of what is right for their child. my son has a father and older brother both vaccine injured, yet because he is not dying of a child hood illness or currently injured by vaccinations he is excluded from the basic human right to make our own choices for our bodies. it is absolutely disgusting to live in such a closed minded state. I ask that any one in charge of this legislation hear the voices and cries of thousands of families begging for a change before it is too late.

I just want the right to do with my future child that all other states have. It's my child, my choice. We say this country is "free" but how can we say that and continue to dictate what we can and can't do with our own bodies? Please make a change so I (and many others) won't be forced to leave my home state one day, so my kids don't have to be vaccinated due to my beliefs.

Please consider voting for parents to be able to decide what vaccines their child needs. I have a 12 year old daughter who suffers from very severe eczema. She is literally covered from head to toe. Her legs, ankles, feet, arms, hands, neck and parts of her face always look like raw hamburger meat. We have been all over the country to doctors and tried any and every diet, lotion or vitamin anyone suggests to no avail. Whenever she has had vacations required for school over the years, her skin gets even worse. This beautiful child has not experienced 1 day of life where she actually feels good, hasn't clawed her skin all day and night or had a complete nights rest since she was 1 month old. I beg you to think of how miserable this child feels everyday and the bullying she's endured over the years when you vote. A child should be happy, feel good and not be upset because she can't attend field day or water day at school because her skin won't allow her to attend these activities. Children should be carefree and be able to enjoy being a child. Please think hard at how a child's life and happiness can be affected by how you vote. I believe in vaccination and will have her vaccinated. I just want the opportunity to make the decision as to which ones she should receive. The government doesn't know anything regarding my child's health so they shouldn't be able to override what I or her allergist knows what's best for her. Thank you for your time and I hope you vote to give parents the rights to raise their children the way the parents see best.

For the sake of our children & grandchildren, please consider allowing rescheduling or opt out of SO many potentially dangerous & deadly vaccines especially for vulnerable infants. My grandchild had adverse reactions to routine vaccines & has caused ongoing medical problems, developmental delays when she was perfectly healthy before the last vaccines she received. Not all children tolerate vaccines the same. Thank you

I believe parents should have the right to make the decision about vaccines. There is evidence of vaccines having detrimental effects on children. Parents should also be informed of side effects and what is in vaccines. We also need that peace to know our children will not be taken away from us for choosing not to vaccinate or having a delayed vaccination schedule. Please take time to do research. As a mother of a ten month old I feel like I should have this right to decide what is best for him. Thank you.

Studies have shown vaccinations is the cause of autism due to high levels of mercury in the vaccinations, so how can you prove to me that my child will not be affected negatively from vaccinations. Everyone's immune system functions differently. Also how is my child putting someone else child at risk if they are up to date on if the so called vacation suppose to protect you from getting the disease in the first place, shouldn't the be safe from getting it?

I worked as a social worker and group home director with Ellisville State School for 20 years. I saw the pain and devastation of autism and other severe disabilities first-hand. I now serve as administrator of a small Christian school where I meet parents of students on the autism spectrum seeking an environment where their child can learn without being relegated to public school Special Ed. If there is ANY chance this condition could be affected by an environmental factor, we as society, and you as legislators, have the moral obligation to stand for the rights of parents to exercise choice in this matter. Please take every opportunity to familarize yourself with the facts of this issue, beyond merely hearing the recommendations of the established medical entities. Please listen to the true experts on their own children: the parents who have lived this nightmare -- your constituents.
