IT’S TIME TO GET READY FOR BACK-TO-SCHOOL! The Mississippi State Department of Health (MSDH) has two schedules of required vaccines: one for daycare and one for school. The combined doses on both schedules add up to 38 total doses by kindergarten. In the state of Mississippi, an infant must have 21 doses of vaccines by just 6 months to attend public/private daycare. Yet, your child is likely getting even more than the state required doses. All MS pediatricians are promoting the full CDC recommended schedule. If you don’t want your child to have more than is necessary for school, be sure you know the difference. If your child is injured or killed by a vaccine, do you think you can sue? You can’t. The National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act of 1986 made it illegal (unlike all other pharmaceuticals) for parents to sue vaccine makers or health care providers for vaccine induced death or injury of their child. Instead, claims are made to the federal government and if approved, are paid for with tax dollars, while drug companies get off scott-free. Since1986 the vaccine schedule has more than quadrupled, while the government has paid over $3.6 billion to date in vaccine damages.   You, the parent, have the right to make vaccine decisions for the child God entrusted to you. 48 other healthier states have offered parents religious and/or personal belief options to the vaccine schedule for decades, since vaccine mandates began. Mississippi is the only state in the entire south that does not allow parents the right to prayerfully decide how to vaccinate their children through a religious exemption. Please join us and help us to advocate for your right to decide for your children how and when they are vaccinated.  It’s your child. It should be your choice.
REQUIRED IMMUNIZATION TABLES taken directly from the Mississippi Department of Health Website Please note the TOTAL number of required immunizations children today must receive to attend daycare/school (pink text). MSDH recommends our children receive 49 doses of 14 vaccines by kindergarten. 21+ doses are administered during baby’s first 6 months of life. More will be added, with no end in sight.
Insurance companies have now incentivized vaccines causing pediatricians to fire little children whose parents wish to delay or selectively vaccinate, and who do not precisely follow the larger CDC recommended schedule. An off-schedule child hurts their bottom line. In fact, Blue Cross and Blue Shield’s Performance Recognition Program regards your up-to-date and on-schedule child a “numerator hit” for your pediatrician. (*see pg 11)
